Codar uses this data to:
Data Sharing
Data is shared with the configured Codar relay and Codar service components only to provide the active browser automation session. Data may also be processed by service providers that host, secure, or operate the Codar service. Codar does not sell, rent, or share extension data with advertisers or data brokers.
Local Storage and Retention
The extension stores connection settings, device ID, device token, session state, and user-granted local file metadata in browser extension storage. The device token is not returned in status responses. Users can disconnect the extension, revoke optional permissions, remove selected local files, clear extension storage, or uninstall the extension at any time.
Browser artifacts and session records sent to Codar are retained according to the user's Codar workspace settings and service configuration.

Production connections should use HTTPS or WSS. Connection tokens should be short-lived, scoped to a user-approved browser connection, and revocable by disconnecting the extension or disabling the browser connector in Codar.
